Dr Kimm Curran

My research interests include monastic and religious life from 1100-1600 in Britain and Ireland. I am particularly interested in the prosopography of religious men and women; social/family history of monastic houses. My current research is looking at the development of monasteries in medieval landscapes and uses of monastic spaces and places of female convents.

Dr Gillian Kenny

My research focuses generally on women’s roles in medieval and early modern European society. More particularly  I am interested in how women’s lives were conducted in Ireland, Scotland and Wales from the period c. 1066-1560.  I am also focused on researching the lives of Outsiders in medieval society, particularly in socially divided and colonised regions.
